Ahmad was a leader of local Ahmadiyya youth association MKA Pakistan (Majlis Khuddamul–Ahmadiyya).
This is not the first religiously motivated attack on the family. In 2008 Imtiaz Ahmad’s uncle Seth Yousaf local president of the Ahmadiyya community was shot dead a day after after Pakistan’s most watched TV channel Geo TV aired a program in which an infamous hate preacher called for the murder of Ahmadīs.
Seth Yousaf’s son, Asif Daud, also escaped attempt on this life few months ago.
It is very disturb me every time I heard that one of our ahmadi brother is killed may Allah rest his soul in paradise and give family a patience may Allah protect Ahmadis world wide and may Allah destroy all the mullahs
