The three-day annual international conference of the Ahmadiyya Muslim community began today at its headquarters in Qadian town of Indian Punjab, with the participation of more than 17,000 delegates from all over the world including 6,000 from Pakistan.
The first batch of delegates from Pakistan arrived in Qadian through different buses via Wagah border on December 17th. The Indian government has granted visas to 6,000 Pakistani delegates to take part in the conference.
Sayed Tanveer Amhad, External Affairs Secretary and Mohammad Inam Gauri Internal Affairs Secretary, Ahamdiyya Muslim Community welcomed the delegates on their arrival.
The first session of the convention was attended by more than 17,000 delegates from all over the world including Pakistan and Bangladesh.
Mohammad Inam Ghori Chief Secretary Sadr Anjuman Ahmadiyya Qadian said volunteers have been deployed in the different part of the Qadian for the security purpose for Jalsa Salana Qadian.
Press Secretary of the Ahmdiyya Muslim community, Sheikh Mujahid Ahmad said the community will organise a ‘Sarb Dharma Sammelan’ tomorrow in which scholars and representatives from different religions will take part.
Officer In-charge of Jalsa Salana, said that Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat is providing food and accommodation to all of the Jalsa Salana participants.
The Worldwide Head of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, Hazarat Mirza Masroor Ahmad will address this congregation on 28th December around 4 PM.
