Pakistani-Canadian leader Shahid Mahmood Rashdi died Wednesday from a post-surgery infection. He had undergone a successful heart surgery just days before. Rashdi, 70 was a former Pakistan Air Force pilot who migrated to Canada in late 90’s where he soon made a name for himself as a community leader and activist. A vehicle crash at Maryland Mosque on Sunday left two injured. Police say a 76-year-old man, was trying to park when the car fell into the lower level of an outside enclosure near the building. U.S. senators want to declare Pakistan a ‘country of particular concern’
