European Union Ambassador to Pakistan on Monday paid a visit to the Ahmadiyya town of Rabwah and met with senior community leaders.
Ambassador Jean-François Cautain described his first ever visit to the sleepy town of Rabwah as a learning experience. The EU Ambassador also urged the Government of Pakistan to address the “concerns” of the Ahmadiyya community.
In a tweet, Ambassador Jean-François said:
First ever visit to Chenab Nagar – Rabwah. Learning how Ahmadi community has contributed to Pakistan with inter alia first Foreign Minister, first Nobel Prize. Hope that current Government will address their recurrent concerns.
