With a second killing in a week it seems that the murderous campaign against Ahmadiyya Muslim community of Nawab Shah has gotten intense and the Police is unable to do anything about it.
58 year old Mr Maqsood Ahmad who was the resident of Dar ul Rehmat, Rabwah was shot dead in Mohni Bazar Nawab Shah by two unknown assailants at around 3 PM on 7th March 2012.
Mr Maqsood worked as a salesperson for a local Homeopathic supply company and used to make regular visits to Sindh. Due to his regular visits he had become well known in the area where he was attacked and for some time he had been receiving various threats, whilst one of his clients had also been intimidated and told to stop dealing with Maqsood Ahmad because he was an Ahmadi Muslim.
The spokesman for the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat, Abid Khan said:
“Hatred against the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat in Pakistan continues to spread and leads to such tragic incidents. Hatred and persecution of any organisation or group must be condemned by all those who believe in peace and tolerance. Such attacks serve only to destabilise society and to spread discord.”
It must be noted that Nawab Shah is the epicentre of the ruling Pakistan People’s Party led by President Asif Ali Zardari.
Coz you guys know that Ahamdis are right! no violence will help YOU to stop US!
AHMADIYYAT ZINDABAD!
